Groundwork
Learning Strategist Certification
Introducing Groundwork, a Canadian certification program designed for educators.
Learning strategies are evidence-based, practical, and effective across the full range of learners, but despite being an emerging field they remain largely absent from teacher education and professional training.
Thatβs why weβve created Groundwork, the certification program designed to hand educators the tools and support necessary to be the fierce student success advocates they aim to be.
Three Part Program
Groundwork is made up of three courses, each resulting in a different level of certification.
Roots
$795 / 8-week course / June 30 - August 18
In Roots, educators will build the tool kit necessary to explore Learning Strategies Practices more in depth as the program continues into second and third course blocks.
Certificate in Learning Strategies Practice - Foundations
Depth
$1495/ 8-week course / September 15 - November 3
In Depth, educators will expand on the tool kit they built in our Roots course. You will gain an understanding around why it works, how it comes together, and what to do when it doesn't.
Certificate in Learning Strategies Practice - Advanced
Growth
$2195 / 8-week course / January 12 - March 2, 2027
In Growth, educators will put the pieces they have acquired in Roots and Depth together in a supervised practice.
