Many students who are struggling academically will never receive the intervention that could help them most. That’s where learning strategies can help. Learning strategies are a neuroinclusive, evidence-based intervention that supports all learners, and in a targeted way helps those who struggle most. Through Groundwork, educators of all types can become trained and credentialed through a program built on holistic, evidence-based learning strategy practice.
Groundwork is a three-part program. In each course, registrants work to receive a new level of certification in Learning Strategies Practice.

In Depth, educators will expand on the tool kit they built in our Roots course. You will gain an understanding around why it works, how it comes together, and what to do when it doesn't.
Requires the completion of Roots.

Week 3 — Neuroaffirming Practice
Week 4 — Anti-Oppressive Practice in Learning Strategy Work
Week 5 — Working With Resistance and Complexity
Week 6 — The Practitioner Self
Week 7 — Systems, Structures, and Advocacy
Week 8 — Integration and Preparation for Growth
Assessment — Certificate in Learning Strategies Practice, Advanced
Registration for this course requires an immediate down payment of $75CAD + tax, collected at checkout.
