Many students who are struggling academically will never receive the intervention that could help them most. That’s where learning strategies can help. Learning strategies are a neuroinclusive, evidence-based intervention that supports all learners, and in a targeted way helps those who struggle most. Through Groundwork, educators of all types can become trained and credentialed through a program built on holistic, evidence-based learning strategy practice.
Groundwork is a three-part program. In each course, registrants work to receive a new level of certification in Learning Strategies Practice.

In Roots, educators will build the tool kit necessary to explore Learning Strategies Practices more in depth as the program continues into second and third course blocks.

Week 3 — Time and Task Initiation
Week 4 — Prioritization
Week 5 — Studying and Retrieval
Week 6 — Test-Taking and Assessment
Week 7 — The Holistic Toolkit
Week 8 — Putting It Into Practice
Assessment — Certificate in Learning Strategies Practice
Registration for this course requires an immediate down payment of $75CAD + tax, collected at checkout. Remaining payment will be collected automatically on September 15th 2026 in alignment with course start date. If you are registering anytime between June 23rd - June 30th, total payment is due immediately upon registration.
