Reading Week Roadmap

I get asked about Reading Week (aka Study Break aka Spring Break) a lot. Usually by students after the break hasn't gone very well.

With college and university reading weeks coming up this month, I’ve designed this roadmap in the hopes of helping learners have a kinder, sustainably productive, restorative, and fun break.

Pass this roadmap along to the learners in your orbit who could use a little structure or nudge about how to study, catch up on missed material, move forward with upcoming assignments, take care of other responsibilities, and reconnect with loved ones. It's not easy, and there's a lot going on.

Share with the educators in your network who want to offer some advice to learners towards a feel-good and efficient study break.

Wishing students in all programs and years, professors, contract faculty, lecturers, and TAs a reading week that's easeful and effective, both.

Study week, spring break, reading week—whatever you call it, it’s the week that represents the mid-way point in the college or university semester. It’s also a great opportunity for students to catch-up on their course load and assignments...but it doesn’t always go smoothly.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

"I wanted to get so much done, but I barely looked at my work."

“I'd hoped to get caught up, but now I'm even more stressed."

"My sleep schedule got all messed up and I'm exhausted."

Then download this FREE PDF resource and learn the 90-minute method learning strategy to improve your sleep, study, and chances for success this academic year.
