Jackie is a Registered Social Worker (RSW), holistic therapist, and holistic learning strategist who brings a deep appreciation for people in context - their identities, histories, nervous systems, and learning environments. She holds an Honours BA and MA in Sociology and a Master of Social Work, and spent more than thirteen years working in post-secondary education supporting learners through transition, self-doubt, and the moments when learning feels fragile or out of reach. Her work has always centred on curiosity, belonging, and helping people make sense of themselves within the complexity of educational spaces.
Jackie's approach is shaped by both lived experience and extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and embodied practices, including aromatherapy, reiki, yoga, and yoga nidra. She understands firsthand that learning doesn’t always come easily; this insight deeply informs her work today. Jackie supports people in understanding how they learn, what their nervous systems need to feel safe enough to engage, and how to build strategies that honour their unique strengths, stories, and identities. She has a particular passion for supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ learners and those navigating identity, transition, or overwhelm - helping them cultivate confidence, regulation, and sustainable ways of learning that support long-term growth and wellbeing.
