Marisha (she/her) enjoys collaborating with students to help them build a personalized toolbox of learning strategies that focuses on their strengths and supports their success.

Currently, as an Academic Skills Instructor at Trent University, Marisha works with undergraduate and graduate students to refine their time management, note taking, reading, studying, and writing skills. In this role, she has co-designed programs like Homeroom and Study Café, which support first-year, transfer, and mature students navigating the transition to university-level learning.

Marisha is also passionate about science. She has taught post-secondary courses in a variety of scientific disciplines and holds a PhD in Environmental and Life Sciences.
