Christina (she/her) is passionate about unpacking the “unwritten rules” of education so that students can fully develop and flourish. Her background in language andIntercultural education has convinced her that each academic subject has its own unspoken culture, and that an important key to success is helping each student learn the rules of thinking, speaking, writing, and studying connected to their course. She is committed to helping students decode the “rules” in a non-judgemental way that honours their strengths and experiences.

Christina holds a PhD in education and has supported students their learning individually, in small groups, and as a university instructor. She has also developed programs to help students transition to postsecondary, recover from academic setbacks, and succeed in online learning. With her additional training in emotional intelligence, Christina is skilled in helping students integrate growth in academic skills with their whole-person development.
